Message or just to be inflammatory, but I wouldn't want my engine worked on by someone specifically trying to beat a tight time limit, no matter how skilled you are.

What will you ignore to prove yourself right, if you happen to notice something that needs attention while you're in there?

What will you miss because you're too focused on going quickly?

I've been involved in many motor replacements, and they're never as simple as pulling one out and dropping in the replacement.

What about the broken parts you encounter that you don't have replacements on hand for? Myriad plastic electrical connectors that are brittle and cracked and need replacing? Stiff hoses? They're always there.

Then there are the services that are much easier done while the engine is out, assuming the replacement engine is a used one. I'd hate not to address a 60k while it was all that easy to get to, for instance, if it was anywhere near time for one.

I don't doubt that you COULD do it as quickly as you say. But I personally would never want mine done that quickly. If I needed someplace to get that service, I might take you up on the monetary part of your offer, but I wouldn't hold you to one day.

Just my reaction to your offer.

I was previously a aviation mechanic and avionic technician and this car is harder to work on than Aircraft.
